We Make It Easy to Add This Popular Solution to Your Projects

Today, homeowners expect some technology in their homes by the end of the construction phase. There are slight variations from client to client as to what that means, but there’s one non-negotiable: lighting. While the need for indoor lighting is obvious, it’s also important not to disregard the importance of landscape lighting.

In a National Home Builders Association study, 87% percent of buyers wanted exterior lighting included in their homes. However, some fixtures on the porch and by the door aren’t enough to stand out in the luxury market. Lighting designers help you craft solutions that boost the home’s appeal, value, comfort and safety.

Do you want to find the right partner for your next build? Acadian Home Theater & Automation is a CE Pro Top 100 company and Control4 Diamond dealer. We integrate this technology without extensive costs or delays if you include us from the start. Look at our process to find out why we’re one of the most trusted companies in New Orleans, LA.

Discovery

Since we only deliver turnkey solutions, it’s important that we meet with your client to see what they want out of their lighting design. Not only do we find out what their priorities are ,but we also ask the right questions to ensure we address any primary pain points. Setting up this meeting early allows us greater flexibility when transforming their input into a comprehensive design since we’ll be able to collaborate with you and other contractors to integrate our solution.

Design/Engineering

Our initial design includes all wiring schematics and the location of all fixtures and components. If your client has decided to work with us for other technology (networking, AV, security, etc.), we’ll also add information on those subsystems. After you and your clients have had a chance to review the design and provide feedback, we move on to the engineering phase. During this phase, we add lighting load specifications, engineering schematics and even rack elevations. We’ll provide your team with all this documentation to confirm it fits your overall design.

Implementation/Project Management

Our project manager will coordinate with you the entire time as they install and test the system. The established documentation guides all the work, and we create any relevant as-built document when there are change orders. Seamless collaboration with your team results in a system that meets all client standards while not hampering your project. Doing this during construction also means we don’t have to disturb the client by adding components when they’re already living on the property.
